Collectible village piece is made by The Cat’s Meow.  The back reads: Dated to the 1790s.  Accommodated both Sister’s and Brethren’s work.  Equipment in the machine shop and washroom was powered by an overshot waterwheel and later by a turbine, fed by the Shakers’ extensive water system.  Measures 6 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.  Made in the USA. Collect them all!
