Our latest piece, added to our collection in 2020, this collectible village piece is made by The Cat’s Meow.  The back reads: Business-minded Shaker Brothers and Sisters served their communal family as Trustees.  They lived in the Trustees’ Office and were responsible for all of the community’s business transactions.  Here, outsiders from “the World” placed orders for goods, and guests of the village dined and lodged.  This building was built in the early 19th century and underwent significant renovations in 1852 and 1895.  The “Victorianization” of the building in 1895 was intended to make visitors feel more comfortable.  Measures 6 1/2″ x  4 1/4″.  Made in the USA.
